48DCOE aux venturies

chasing some Aux venturies for a pair of 48 DCOE carbs.
i have been told they are no longer made by a few different places and they didnt have any available so wondering if anyone has some laying around? or know where i could source some.

they are for DCOE carbs though not DCO/SP i dont believe they are the same.
eurocarb told me they were no longer available.

Might do some reading on the differences between the two. I've always been a Dellorto fan myself, i can quote you chapter and verse on them!

Did you try Dave at Re-carb. if he hasn't got any he will def help you get some.

cheers ozstang i tried those guys, they couldnt help.
i was told by the guys at eurocarb that the 45DCOE stuff wouldnt fit, but then i read somewhere else that they will.
can anyone confirm if the 45 stuff will fit or not? mine are 48DCOE 99/1 if it helps.
or if someone has a set of 45 they could possibly measure the diameter of the venturies for me so i can compare.

i shot the recarb guys an email steve cos i was too late to ring today.
ill give them a ring tomorrow.
i am upgrading from 45 dellorto's, and this is my first venture into webers. i have had all dellortos till now. they have always worked well for me.

You are better off trying Weber concessionaries in the UK or Phil at Bits of Italy in Melbourne, as a 48 DCOE auxiliary venturi is the same O.D. (48mm) as a 45 but does not have the have the turned leading edge and is a slightly bigger inside diameter, but you can use the aux vents from a 45 as you're just going to have to tune them to suit

its for a 2L pinto.
i spoke to phil, from bits of italy, he told me he could do it by machining some 45 ones, but it was going to be $160 each. when you say larger inside diameter, do you mean the ring that sits on the barrel, if so, i plan on running 38mm chokes to start with, so will this make a lot of difference?
it will just mean the step from the venturi to the choke will be smaller yeah? it should also give a bit more material to machine the leading edge.

Just start with 45 auxiliaries then preferably 4.5's if you're only using little chokes
