who to get to inspect a car in qld

Im in Melbourne so I would like to get someone to look at it.
any recommendations?

It depends on your idea if "mint" and your expectations. But yes I think thats about the right price for a really good road car. Some people think their cars are worth a million bucks these days, but these cars just sit for sale for months to years.
You just have to be patient.

I think you'll get a very good car for that price, as overall prices have softened for collectable cars over the last few years.

And as a buyer you have the box seat because the market to sell a $10-15k MK1 is quite limited, so to have money and be ready to buy gives you some extra bargaining power.
