do they distort the light? Looking at some pics, it seems that 1 or 2 don't fit quite right.

It all depends on how you choose to mount them - these are based on original set that uses the two original screws and stick on valcro. I have had the units laser cut so the profile is exactly the same.
The cover is flat so once you have trialled fit them, if the units need a slight curve you can heat them up with a hot air gun and do so.
Every noscone is slightly different depending if the car has been in accident and how it has been repaired, if the cone has distorted over the years or how well the Sydney plant put the car together in the first place.
The fitment of my nosecone could be better so the covers show this from some angles but I also choose to only use them for display and therefore only use the two screws with rubber spacers not to damage or scratch the light surrounds or nose cone.
