Oil and Water Senders

Where are the locations for the oil pressure and water temp senders in a 205 block? There appears to be a large thread at the rear of the block low dow on the off side for the water temp but isn't water temp best recorded from the head??

The oil pressure port is just above the dizzy (small about 8mm)?

What threads are they?

Also, in a dry sump system where is the best place to measure the oil temperature? It seems reasonable that it should be in the return line but not sure. The Peterson remote filter head I am using has a small port that is presumably for a temp sender. Sounds like a good spot?

Less than a month until Classic Targa Adelaide and I am SO behind so any help so gratefully accepted..........

You've got it around the wrong way.
The water temp is hole above the dissy in the head and the oil pressure is the hole in the block.

The oil pressure sender is located on the block just above the starter motor and as per above the water temp sender is in the head above the dizzy.

I agree Steve. I know I have pissed a few ppl off with my one sidedness. I had my reasons for not posting pics during the build and for what it was worth tried to explain to a few ppl. I will start a thread now and post a few.....
