capri hubs & discs. Replace or restore?

Postby ratta tat tat » Sun Feb 12, 2012 6:54 pm

The capri hubs & discs I have are very rusty, but I'm wanting to keep it all standard. The same offset & PCD. They will be going into my MK1 escort. Which path do most of you go down when getting these back to RWC? How does sandblasting hubs/machining discs compare to replacing with volvo bits? Which model volvo's have the right hubs to suit capri struts and is there much modification needed? Also (i know it's wrong section) which inserts are recommended for capri struts, road use generic brand? Will the MK1 escort steering arms need to be used on the capri struts or keep the capri ones? Any answers woul be very helpful thanks

Capri struts will bolt straight into a Mk1 Escort, without any dramas.
