It looks like it'll just be Fahley and I keeping up the Escort side - the rest obviously being scared off by Fahleys cars new stance (personally i'm sure those pics are paintshopped)...

Anyhow I took the day off work for final checks, wheel alignment, wash & polish.






This new dished steering wheel is so much more comfortable...

I have been busy elsewhere over the past month so I have not achieved much with the escorts.

As above - 1st in class at Shannons 3 weekends ago.

The next weekend we got first P3 in the 4th round of the WARC:

We were first 2WD at 1/2 way service but narrowly missed out after the mud and rock ground through the rear brake lines leaving us with only front brakes for the last two stages

The next week was my last week at my old job which resulted in a hell of a Friday night party and the hangover from hell which wiped out last weekend.

Yesterday the weather was finally fine enough for me to collect the grp4 shell. It's been caged to the CAMS 2012 specs - so double roof bars, Sainz bars, etc






The shed is now a little full:


Today I tackled the last rust that I know off - the spit mount prevented me from fixing this earlier.

After a poke with a screw driver:


Both layers trimmed out:


New inner after a healthy dose of rust coverter:

And I had to test fit my new flocked twin cowl dash

Cannot recall if you previously said where the twin cowl flocked dash came from? Was it flocked locally? I have a twin cowl and want to flock it or swede cover it.

Was good to meet yourself and Ian on Sunday, plenty to learn from you guy's and hope to be hanging around a lot next year.

As I mentioned to you, I use GoPro's a lot with my other hobby video piloting. The best software I found for editing is called Pinicale studio HD. Very powerful but also very easy to use. I have a copy I can give you, I'll chuck it in the glove box and give it next time I see you.

@John, best and cheapest place for GoPro's is a online place called 'Cheap Chips', I think they operate out of Melboure. Prices are consistently good and service is excellent. If you want to borrow one for an event, let me know as I have a few spare.
