Digging up an old thread. Has anyone used the Performance Friction PF01 pads ??
Any good compared to the DS3000's ??

Too much bite especially with a crappy tyre like the 48 as the pad have such a sharp torque curve that they lock up so easily and you can't modulate it out and have to get off the pedal and have another go only to lock again!
The older 98's were better but the DS3000 is the best of the lot!

Cheers Danny
Been running the DS3000's for the last 2 seasons and thought I'd try something different.
As I'm running a smaller disc to tyre diameter ratio compared to say a 15" rim package (2" bigger disc with near the same tyre dia, 205/60/13 against 205/50/15) I thought the smaller disc would cope with a slightly more aggressive pad.

Where would you rate the Hawks HT-10 (HB204S.625) in all this ??

I used them when I had 13" wheels and 205/60/13 gosloyamas and 260mm BMW discs and Volvo's
I wouldn't even contemplate running them on the set up I have now as the DS3000's have too much bite and I've gone back to the DS2500's!
All the Qld guys on the Hawks went back to the Ferodo's
