Yeah the track was built around the drag strip. The armco on the left down the main straight is back to back with the drag strip.
If you look at the first video, you'll see the strip.
Changing gears at 7000, not game to push it anymore. Its still running the std crank, rods and pistons
albeit the small ends have been lightened and the rods fitted with ARP bolts.............

Been playing around with movie maker and added a title to the second race video..........now I'm dangerous

Round 2 was last weekend and the car performed well, apart from breaking the throttle linkage on the last lap of the last race. There is some wicked vibrations in the car..............
First race was pretty much the same as round 1. Managed to take off 1.5 seconds a lap, so happy with that.
Race 1 below
Race 2 and 3 were the same, but race 4 was an all in combined "Dash for Cash" race (winner was pulled from a hat, so no sheep stations on this one)
Had a good start, but missed third and grabbed fifth and wasn't game to try my luck on another one so left it in fifth.
Had great fun with a Dunny door Cup car, but broke the throttle linkage on the last lap.
Apart from that, had a great weekend
