Long shot here but I'm after the lower rear window sill section that runs across behind the parcel shelf where the window seal fits. After looking at my shell it might be easier unstitching this whole panel and replacing rather than trying to weld in repair sections each end. It will also make repairing the corners of the boot recess easier also. See pic
Oh, did I mention it has to be rust free - LOL!
I'm going to U-Pullit during the week to inspect the shells there etc so drop me a line if you have a shell that has a section worth donating.
I replaced the same section on my car about 8 years ago, I did as you were thinking, unstiched the panel and welded in a replacement from a donor. Getting the replacement panel was the hardest part, go down to U-Pullit with a drill and hack saw (jutst for the channel corners) and should be OK.
