Urgent 1600 xflow needed

One of the boys on the Red Centre Trial has damaged the 1600 xflow in their MK1 Escort.

They are on the hunt for a complete reliable runner, does not necessarily have to be a hottie but must be a known reliable runner. Happy to look at a complete engine or a bare motor.

If they can find what they want they will buy it fly it out to their next service.

As a followup to this post, We managed to buy a 1300 motor out of a paddock bomb 1956 Ford Prefect, in Alice Springs, and finished the rally in 32rd position out of 70 starters. A few minor issues, but the escort went on and on for 7000km. The photo is at the finish n the Gold Coast. I will attach a story at a later date, cheers Ted

Here is a photo of the prefect that we got the 1300 motor out of in Alice Springs. I am working on a rally report so will post a story soon.
