Oil Blowby Issue

Okay, I have had the Escort's tuning finished today where it made about 85hp atw. It runs substantially better.

However, whilst on the dyno & on the drive home oil was getting blown out the dipstick tube. My mechanic (Kent Town Dynotune) constructed a new bracket for the tube as it originally came up under the rear Weber. It now comes up between the two rear inlet's on the manifold. Same tube, same dipstick. Very ingenious though.....

He pointed out that someone previously has cut about an inch off the end of the dipstick (he had another Escort one on hand) as when you pushed the other one down the tube it kept hitting something & wouldn't go all the way down. He feels the car may have a baffled sump & the dipstick is hitting a baffle, would this be possible?

So, what do I do with the oil blowing out? I have the other dipstick (correct length), it has a "tighter" top/handle on it where it pokes out the tube, if I cut & fit this one & oil can no longer be forced out the tube where will it go?

I have read the other thread on Crankcase Ventilation but I really can't see why this would be an issue with a stock motor.

Apologies for the essay guys. Hopefully one of you technical guru's has an easy explanation/solution for me

The dipstick that was shortened wouldn't have been cut but would have been broken as the stick will rattle against the factory horizontal baffle and literally break off if the tube isn't lined up properly as I did a few of these on my old pinto but don't worry next time you change the oil feed a magnet on a stick up the drain hole and it'll find it
As far as fixing it now keep bending hte tube and stick until it clears the plate
