Escort Mk1 front guards

Need a pair of Mk1 front guards.

Must be in decent condition, as I need to modify them to have steel forest arch flares on them, so I dont want to start with rusty ones


My ones are too rusty in the corners to use, so need to buy some.

seems a shame to cut up $1300 (plus shipping) of guards to put on flares. that is why I was looking for decent local used ones...

Why not just fix the rust in yours if it's only on the bottoms

there is rust around the headlights, the panel join and the back bottom. If I am gonig to do a nice bodyshell, I dont want to start with crap guards..

so the idea is if someone has some decent second hand ones, then I would start with that.

Do you know, does anyone sell complete steel guards new with the forest arch flares already on them...
I can get them in fibreglass, but not steel I dont think...

that might be another option.
