front guard removal escort

Postby langleygt » Sat Mar 30, 2013 11:12 pm

hello everyone just joined this forum, currently removing the front from my mk1 escort, does anyone have any tips for removing them from the front panel, ideally i want to re-use both the guard and the front panel. been thinking if i bend the seam to a 45deg angle might be easier to drill spot welds out.

I agree with OZ 90 degree adapter. Don't bend it unless your a dab hand at panel beating it all back to shape. If its still spot welded its done well, all of mine had been seam welded as per when they are replaced after a prang...
