Mk1 2 door window rubbers

Postby fastlaney » Sun Nov 04, 2012 11:04 am

Hi guys

I need help again!!

got front 1/4 rubbers and fixed rear rubbers some time ago to fit to my 2 dr.

finally got it back from paint and the front 1/4 rubbers (from memory Rare Spares) are not even close to fitting correctly. and the rear fixed rubbers have not weathered well and are near on useless! Im sure some of you can feel my pain….bloody frustrating when things can't just go back together

so my question is,

Where does everyone else go for window rubbers?

seen a few in the uk, hard to tell the quality as they all claim to be just like the original even though they are not even close

any help would be very much appreciated

thanks

Mark

Hi Mark. I bought a complete set of Mk1 2 Dr Escort rubbers from East Kent trim in the UK. From memory they were about AUD$600 delivered to my door. EVERYTHING fitted very well and I have been very happy. The car does not live outside and they have only been on the car since August so I cannot comment on their weather resistance.

They do not advertise an email address so unless you want to ring them I suggest you make contact via feeBay UK like I did. They trade there as eastkenttrimsuppliesltd and always have items listed.

Very happy with their product and service.
