Numerous suspension queries

Well I'm no expert but I'll jump in before they arrive

1) Spring rates look fine for road car

2) They are ok, Escorts benefit from lower rear susp. May not help with axle tramp much though (not much off the shelf does)

3) Don't know enough to give informed answer

4) Have heard of them falling apart on Mazda rotarys. I have used them for road use for 6 months now and they are great for road. They raise the front of car by a couple of inches, but make steering easier (sperical bearing) and ride is not noticeably more jarring than std strut tops. Camber adjust only for post-76 Mk2's

5) The 2L Escort koni yellow is easiest to fit in 2L Escort Strut But since they are not made anymore if they make the Capri one 86-1835 just use that with a spacer in the bottom of the strut tube. They may include that in the kit.

6) Yes its the obvious choice but Koni Reds and Bilstein are just as good.
