G'day Aaron, I wasn't having a go at you! Any thing under a minute is F#@ken fast, but I do know how bloody competitive you are and going by previous Lakeside "Improved Production" times and with the amount of grunt and tyre that you have I would have thought that you might have been a bit faster.But as you said, 1st time out and a hot track, not exactly ideal conditions.

David thanks for introducing youself. That is the problem with "sign ins" that don't have your name, you don't know who you are talking to. Have we ever met as we are both on the Gold Coast with very similar cars?

The fact that your car has more HP than mine is no surprise as no development has been done on my engine for since I bought it from Danny 7 years ago.

Personally I would love to have a run at Lakeside again having done many sprints there in the 80's . Unfortunately I am not in a position to spend the kind of money that they are asking for an entry just to get knocked back on their noise regs that my car is unlikely to pass!!

Thanks David. I know Jeff very well from Mt Cotton ( and I also kept him awake with my snoring sharing a room with him at Bathurst last year!!!!!).The cost of my fuel to tow to Morgan Park would probably be more than the extra entry costs for Lakeside sprints!!!

The "TrackAttack" costs look very attractive but I know of at least 2 guys with high revving Escorts that have been kicked out of Lakeside on noise. Steve Bell came down from Gladstone to run his car and ran an extra muffler on top of his rear bumper!!! Not exactly very cheap and practical and I am running on a very tight budget which is why I do a lot of Hillclimb. Not good value for money I agree but I would rather do a few more cheaper events (14 this year) than a lot fewer expensive ones

At least Morgan Park is an interesting track ( unlike QR ) and we run on 3 different configurations over the 4 rounds. I have run the MG Car Clubs Ironman Sprints on the 'Clubman Circuit at QR and was doing 4's and 5's. What type of figures did your car put out at ChipTorque anyway, I think mine was 154rwhp.

Gary the problem with Dyno Dynamics dyno's is they change from day to day from driver to driver and you can fiddle with the hand controller and have any hp figure you like!!
