One of the many things to consider when setting up, is how the balance bar works when one brake circuit fails. You want the bar to reach a travel stop well before the pedal hits the floor. The good master circuit must still get pedal pressure when the other fails.[/b][/quote]

as this can be tricky in setup
ie position of bearing - balance bar
master cyl rod length

pedal stop position etc etc
typical scenario -
is if you have full front bias on & lose pressure in the front system . will you have any rear brake pressure ??
or vica versa

Thanks fellas, when fitting balance bar to pedal sleeve I had to tap into place, used socket, this is probably due to powder coating. I will have to now disasemble and remove powder coated to ensure bearing is able to slide inside sleeve. I see now why Roger fitted washers between knuckles and sleeve. With my current arrangemnent when the adjustment is used the result is the pushrods are pulled out of square. I was struggling tom understand how this adjusted pressures balance.

I have currently got bearing in centre of pedal, the cylinders supplied are Willwood .75 for rear and .7 for front. I have had to reduce the length of 1 pushrod, not sure which. ( I'm currently in Mackay with work) I will check Pedal stop, that is a good point.

Roger thanks very much for the photo, your posts on this subject have been extremely helpful, I am pretty much basing my installation method on what you are doing.
