engine has been fitted yet, just a engine dyno run,so no oil cooler was fitted. i do have a new oil cooler that i will fit.
will cut filter open and post pics, (next learing curve, posting pics)
i know one thing the filings are not reacting to a magenet
looks like brass/ cooper?

oil filter seems ok, given it is run in oil.
some lube from the new oil pump( black gunk), gasket / sealant materila, some paint flakes, and a very small amount if very fine metal,
what do you guy's think.

How have you gone with getting oil pressure back. I have just rebuilt my engine and so far have got zero oil pressure (havnt had it running as yet). Although I will will try the drill and extension where the dizzy goes next.

Wasn't ingnoring, just on holidays.
Mine ended up being bearing clearance issues, but all sorted and going until some head issues with clearances evolved,but thats being sorted.
What ended up being you prob? something easily fixed I hope?
