Follower retaing springs

Postby chris pfeiffer » Thu Feb 03, 2011 7:39 am

Which way do the tabs on the rocker posts that hold the retaining spring face ???

Towards the cam or away?? I had mine turned so they were closer to the cam and a retainer has popped off the follower

Searched for pictures and information showing the correct way to have them facing and found very mixed opinions

One way must be correct ???????

clip one on then do one the other way , you will feel the difference one goes
on nicely
i have seen engines with them mixed up but you wouldnt know
untill you revved it hard , then they pop off
& rattle a lot
