Gents we are all set up down there just need some cars. Space for easily fitting 8 cars 10 at a pinch. We may need to mess around with the configuration but well sort that out tomorrow.
Just down from the food hall ,toilet block, backing onto the spectator entry road down Banner St.
Nev's done up some flyers to support the cause so suggest we take the RSM team shirts down to fly the flag so to speak :idea:

Load up the car and I'll see you all down their next few days.

You might all find this funny but dropped in to Danny's paint and panel today, not a good idea to start the buffer with the buffing compound on it in the AIR :?:

Have to talk to wife as to how to get this @#$% of my....shirt ....Hat....head....sunnies...shorts

Up to him to figure out out he gets it off the wall

I went ot the event two years ago, to see the cars jumping is a pretty awesome sight. THe cars roaring through the streets is also an awesome spectacle of the event.

WOuld love to make the trip one day in my car, think costs could get pretty steep coming from TAS though.

Oh and also, my father is going, he's a professional photographer, so if anyone would like some snaps or even some film, just shout out and it can be organised.

Apart from Danny trying to thoroughly reshape his car , (If he ever considered putting an RS front on it, now would be a good time) what a great weekend!! The weather was excellent and most of us came home with straight cars unlike a large number of competitors over the weekend. There must have been at least 20 damaged cars over the 2 days, causing many lengthy delays (and plenty of work for the T.A.F.E. boys) and restricting the field to 5 runs in total.

It was also a very successful event for Forum members with Danny wrapping up his class before his crash and Steve Bell coming in 2nd just behind myself in our class. Mark had a very enjoyable weekend and steadily improved throughout and Steve K. kept the crowds (and the campsite ) entertained with his antics once he replaced a broken axle and damaged diff. I suspect that a few more stories may come to light over the next few days.

What a great event, I can't wait to get back next year for another go!!

Thanks Michael. Steve Richards was actually in with Steve Bell and Me. He had a couple of issues with his car on Saturday and did not take part on Sunday but i'll take the win anyway!!

I got this one in the mail as well as a 60mb movie of it going in side on
Until mid afternoon I had consoled myself to the fact that I went in too hot as the car is understeering a little as I'm getting more rear traction from the cambered hubs but this time I was left foot braking to try and get some bite but I felt like a total passenger! Later in the afternoon Mark Crespin in the Cobra told me he also went as well as the quick GT4 but they weren't left foot braking so went in earlier and didn't get near the pole but Mark tells me my tyre marks drove over his long strip of oil! no wonder it didn't turn!
So it's coming apart today and it booked in to a panel beater for next week and the only panel I have to find as I'm out of stock is the top radiator slam panel

Good to see you were unhurt...cars can be fixed. Congratulations on your win and no doubt a top ten finish as well.

And Gary, first time on this track and won your class - got to be happy with that. And good work Belly on a second in class beating a full time V8 driver.

The set up looked fantastic guys. Disappointed I didn't make it down for one day at least.
