Entry forms and regulations keep refering to 'Cams Log Book', and form NCR144 wants comp. history as per log book. Can't see anywhere, where it's ok not to have one, so my understanding is that I can't enter.

Not for the regularities, I've driven the silver car there the last 3 years and it doesn't have a log book. I'll have to check this years sup regs, maybe they've changed it??

No log book needed for regularity at Warwick, but I'll need to upgrade front brakes to compete on the long circuit, plus accomodation/petrol/entry fee/etc. or
Rockhampton, long drive in the Escort plus accomodation/petrol/entry fee/etc., but it is the inaugurual event. Who knows which one to choose.....

Decision made.
Just realised that Noosa is the weekend before, so Warwick it is; Rockhampton is really a four day event, including two days of travel up and back.
Just contacted Eurospeed by email for brake upgrade choices. Standard brakes all round at the moment, so need vented fronts for Warwick and the long track. My brakes were fine on the short track as no real heavy braking, but QR last year showed just how poor the standard brakes are when long braking is involved, and now with more grip, I can carry more speed. One improvement affects another.
See you there Scott. Are you going to Noosa, because it' a bloody awesome hillclimb?

The vented discs and spacers is less than $200 if you do the fitting yourself. The only benefit is extra cooling as you're not increasing swept area at all.



I don't think I'll be doing any other events this year as I'm concentrating on getting the shed built, hopefully before christmas! Lots of groundwork to do first, currently working on the driveway to get around the back. Once the shed is built, my car can get worked on so I can get to some more events. Dad keeps asking if I want to do Noosa (HRCC) in his car at the end of the year so I might take him up on that one, we'll see.
