Pittsworth sprints

Pittsworth sprints has been run and won again last weekend. It was a good event with 160+ cars and we managed to get 12 runs over the two days. My car went well and I managed 2nd outright to Brad Botchers awesome nissan gtr with Craig Weston nissan gtr 3rd and the skelta 4th. Not sure if any other forum members were there, but cossy chris was there and did very well in the escort cosworth, and I also see he scored an action shot in auto actions report on leyburn sprints, so well done Chris. I can recommend pittsworth to anyone thinking of having a go next year, it is a fun track and the surface is anything but smooth and tends to make the car move around a bit, so it was fun to grab it by the scruff of the neck and have a bit of a go. My main aim was to finish ahead of the skelta, so to beat him by 1.3 secs was a great result for me. Cheers. Garry.

Pittsworth sprints was great fun and quick but the standout drive was without question Garry in his v8 escort anyone who can beat the skelta and a gtr on slicks is good well done,also night sprinting is worth trying.

Well done to you both, I'm going to hava a go next year, I have been before but only on the shout track so would be good on the long one
