Lewis (17year old son) and myself are doing a Hillclimb in it in 2 weeks. Hopefully the new diff can handle that!! I've had to put a new gearbox and a new diff in it in the last month!!! The joys of having an old car as a daily driver.

Still a bit hard to see but is the pinion all chipped (?), and would that be from too much axle tramping by someone who'll remain nameless?

P.S. just had another look and has the planetary gears moved/shaft come out(?)

Sorry, phone camera photos. Yes the Planetary gear shaft has come loose and was bashing itself to death on the back of the crown wheel teeth, and the pinion gear was damaged as well.

Yes Ty I'm working in Cleveland now, costing me a fortune in fuel as it's 60k each way but a great job. I have managed to resist the KFC temptation so far but it's only been 3 days!!!!!Geez it smelled good when I walked out into the carpark this afternoon........................mmmmmm Crispy Strips..........must resist!!!!!

i work at Development Solutions in the sheds on the corner... if you came down the hill you would run straight into our office!

my lunch breaks vary as i am in and out of the office but obviously can arrange something!
