Yes, it has reduced the noise of the 48s, but you still know they are there. The intake has helped the tune on the Dyno. It would be nice to have injection but $s are an issue for now.
It was the changes to the exhaust that have had more power and less noise.

WHere did the plastic airbox come from? Simple fitment? Where do you fit the filter, inside it???

It's a Pipercross and the filter is just inside the entry ring. It was a tight fit for the YB head, but a Pinto should have clearance. I have a WC crossmember where the motor is 25 -30mm back and down, there is a problem for firewall clearance.
