Well, got a call from CAMS today. Seems my Cert of Description is complete and will be posted out tomorrow.

Only took 3 months and not even one question from the reviewers. :shock:

That's got to be some sort of record. The yellow car took 10 months and I thought that was quick.

That's May 1988, as I'd just taken delivery of the car from Peter Russell. Had it one week. It will be 21 years of ownership this year in May. Maybe I should give it a 21st B'day party :lol:

I was contacted about 12 months ago by the son of the chief wine maker at the time, who gave me some fantastic photos of the car when first built outside the cellar door.

I want to get the car finished again before I go knocking on their door as I think it will be a better business case if the car is running than the way it is now.

At least things are moving with it so hopefully later this year we'll see it back on the track.

Yeah Dannny that would be fun, especially as Menneguzzo's car was Sports Sedan. But back then he was the only guy who had any real money to spend on engine development'?' And as for the dyno event, I'll have to find out the one that best suits everybody. I know of two on the Northside of Brisbane; Southside and Gold Coast are unknown to me.
