I meant to ask, what is that number plate under the proper one? it looks like a Pommie rear plate (same format and colours)

you have heard of a BDA , well BDK stands for belt driven kingy

but in all truth its a plate i used years ago to confuse the local constabulary , it was right at the start of the speed camera radar era , they didnt know what it was either . why ? do you think this car has been in hiding all these years ?? :shock:

but honestly i think it came off one of the "perana" v8 capri;s imported from south africa , i got it from one of the importers in sydney years ago

I was just curious, as that is the format for a UK rego plate, 3 letters, followed by 3 numbers ending in a T would be a car that was registered between 1st August 1978 and 31st July 1979, it's the easy way of seeing when a cars was registered and how old it is.
I just wondered if you had borrowed it from some pommie import

Was that a castlemain auto elecs reduction gear starter motor in your bag of goodies? If so, before you put it in, you should try to have it race prepared. Mine lasted 1 day from brand new before it fell to bits from vibration. They are just fine if you properly pot all of the loose components in them.
