Well she survived another race meeting last weekend and nothing broke.......
Got to be happy with that
The Wright's brought our their immaculate zetec powered Mk1 Escort.
You really need to get up close to appreciate the work thats gone into it.
At least an Escort still won all the races !!

Found myself working hard trying to keep up with Craig, lot more wheel work this meeting. (broke my PB in race 2 )

Next meeting is at the Super V8's and all three categories will be together, all 46 cars on the grid at once

This weekend see's the V8 Supercars taking over Hidden Valley.
The Esky is entered in the combined IP / Commonwhore Cup / HQ's with a grid of 46 cars.....
Hopefully will have footage if CAMS allow the camera.
Found some old tapes from the 2007's combined race.

Not real excited about today's Qualifying, I'm nearly 2 seconds off the pace from last months meeting. Did a 1:25.3 on old tyres and the best I could do today was a 1:27.2 on NEW tyres..................
Have lost a few HP since Febs Dyno run, in need of a freshen !!
But to loose 2 seconds.........
Will see how we go tomorrow.

The crowds will start getting bigger on Saturday, and on Sunday its unreal.

I didn't find those 2 seconds, but for most of the laps I was stuck behind a Commonwhore of some sort. Man, I need more horsepower............

Slowly worked my way up the grid over the 4 races from 23rd to 15th.
Had a bloody good time and even took out 2nd place on points for the weekend didn't see that coming.

Had problems with the camera and only got footage of Race 1 and most of Race 3. The only time you want it to work and plays up

The crowds were up this weekend to 47000 over the 3 days. The two races on video were first off the rank on Sat and Sun. The lunch time ones (which the camera crapped out) were unreal for spectators.

Race 2 No footage, had a close call with a Porsche spinning in front of me at club house.

Race 3 footage (camera stopped a few laps from home)
The Porsche turned around again in a different spot and avoided 2 spinning cars at turn 14 (start of main straight) and I did pass the yellow commodore on the last lap.
