Lakeside Open Sprint this Sunday 3rd. Trying to repeat 2009 result

Car has been lowered 80mm front and 40mm rear, to compensate for the larger 15" wheels and tyre.
It also now has 5.3:1 diff. This has made a difference getting out of corners, just need to make sure that the shift lights are always in the RED.
We have some AP 5200 series calipers on the way from the UK for the front, as the Volvo's are not up to the grip with the bigger tyres.
Not sure if the T9 Quaife Pro kitted gearbox will go the distance, maybe a Hollinger would be the way to go.

Next Open Sprint 5th June, entry is in, 15 x 10"s now on the rear and not a lot of room.
But there worth 1.5sec a lap at QR, so lets see what it's like at Lakeside.

Lakeside was a good event, unfortunately the fuel pump from tank to swirl pot failed ( ET 110 fuel melted the internals), but still posted 2nd fastest road 4 cylinder time against a toyota that is leading the Lakeside series. This now has me 2nd in the overall series, 3rd at Lakeside (after missing the first 2 rounds.) and 1st in the Queensland Raceway series.
Next Open Sprint will be on the 2nd July at Queensland Raceway.
Hope to see a few SE Qld guys .

Lakeside Open Sprint, final round tomorrow.
Looks like I have finished 3rd for Lakeside (5+ 8year old Toyota's beat my 40yr old girl) and 1st in the Queensland Raceway series.
Overall combined will depend on the entries tomorrow.
Car is ready go, so lets hope for an uneventful day, no rain , no issues.
RS turbo will be out for an end of year run, before the RS gets a new paint job.

1st for the day and 3rd overall for the year.
QR open round to finish the 2011 series is 28th Jan , I have won the QR Open series and 1st place for the 2011 Road 4 group. All good.
your new gearbox sound promising. Whilst in NZ, I went to Palmside. They now have a new kit that goes into a VN commodore V8 T5 box. Approx NZ$ 2850.00. (AUD 2166.00 plus freight and duty)
