Performance Superlite GTR replacement

I had a set of 4 x Performance Wheels Superlite GTR 15x7 rims of which I smashed one and buckled another on the weekend.

Performance Wheels SA is not trading anymore and while somebody appears to be reproducing superlites they are not currently doing 15x7s and not the lighter weight GTR (they are 6.7 kg vs. 8kg standard).


With the current exchange rates what is my best option for sourcing a replacement set of rims (i.e. what and where/who from)?

Did you speak to Wilson motorsports engineering? Or the other mob that is reproducing them (can't remember the name).

I got mixed messages from performance wheels too when queried but grant Wilson did buy the 15x7 moulds and was expecting to have them in action this week sometime. He told me to call back this week anyway... Which I haven't yet so don't know where there at.
He did say though that they are happening in 15x7 and like you said not the gtr weight, but he did say they would be machined almost as much and would be about 7kgs so they may be an acceptable replacement.
Bloody annoying performance closed down, I only need one more for two spares for my bigger tarmac ambitions but was trying to save every penny when I bought mine, and didn't know of the impending doom. and they were probably one of the last sets they did too.

In fact if you decide to buy a new set of wheels, And want to shift the remaining ones you have. Let me know.

I spoke to a mob who are advertising they are re manufacturing superlites via Gumtree. But they are only doing 15x6 in the road version (Superheavy) and I have 6 of them already.

I need to find Danny's Panasport supplier I suspect.
