This is solid alloy, from the rear of an import Honda [ rear eg in the boot.]

If using 1" tube weld bits at right angel say 8mm id at say 40mm long, to bolt to these.

fellas,I made this set up one night at work, being fixed/solid mounted I would expect it to be far stronger than a rose jointed and adjustable item due to there ability to piviot/twist,it just sits in place ,tapped a few holes which were allready there (for some reason).but due to the height of the EFI turbo engine going in now it wont be going back in this car any time soon, really only suits side draught carb set up,will keep it for the next shell.

Yes possibly but still stronger than a alloy or pivot/rose jointed adjustable set up in my opinion.Ideally a frame back to the fire wall would be strong but space is of the eccence under these bonnets.

Now I need to make something that will actually work for the efi turbo pinto going in shortly
