Rear swaybar mounting

For those running an aftermarket rear sway bar (the one that goes under the diff), how do you have it mounted to the chassis? Best to drill through and have a big hole in one side to slide a anti-crush sort of tube through?

Or do you just have it welded.

I think you may have answered a similar question from me before on this same subject. The reason why Im asking again is because we cleaned out the shed and I found more mounting brackets and U-bolts for it to be held to the diff.

It doesn't look comfortable mounting on standard mounts and it also has holes which are too small to go over the standard mounting bolt on an Escort.
It came off a Mk2, but the cars long gone so I have to assume it was mounted through the chassis a little further toward the front (just in front of standard mount) The bolts that go through the hole are also correct with for chassis rails.

Well to answer my own question I rang K-Mac today. It mounts through chassis rail with no crush tube

So its off getting blasted and powder coated now.
Then will test it out and purchase a new bush/fitting kit for it.
