Thanks for the feedback. I'll definately give you a ring Danny. I have an interview tomorrow so will have to see what happens. If the job looks good and they offer me a role then I will move. May bring a Lotus single seater over initially as the Formula Ford is a runner and I have entered in a few NZ events - Bruce McLaren festival being one.

Hi Danny,

Bad news, I sold the twin cam about 7 years ago when I parted from my partner . I had a Mk2 Mexico but I sold that a year ago to buy the FF. I am unsure if I will get another Escort - will have to see how life goes. My defence is I have a Ford kent pushrod in the Van Dieman, a Lotus Twin cams in my Lotus 23 replica and the Lotus 69, a Cosworth BDA in the Ralt RT4. I figure I have the Ford range covered in the engines I admire.

As for Brisbane I have an offer. I am going to accept it. I think I have accomodation. My next issue will be finding a cheap run about car. Any suggestions? Job is in Wacol. I have to negotiate time off as I have been accepted for a number of classic race entries over here. I can see I will be flying back wards and forwards.

Small skite, a good friend knows the Stone Brothers very well, he suggested that I call in and see them as he will give me an introduction.

Welcome to brisvegas it sounds.

PM me as I have "said" runabout. It has a gazillion k's on it but it is a 1996 model Honda Accord VTI. Reliable as you know what and everything works..typical Honda :idea:

I need it "gawn" so to speak.

A plastics Extrsion company has offered me a role. Monetary terms it is a small step back. I however really want a change. I have spent a short time in Brisbane and liked it a lot. I think I have found some accomodation as all I need is a room to rent initially untill I find my feet and work out where I want to live and what I want to rent. Cheap car looks to be sorted. I will wait a while before I bring any cars over as I want to see how I slot in to life over there. The biggie is getting to know some people.
