I have lowered the wiring loom hole on the rally car, the only people who have ever noticed it are Escort experts, most dont even realise what has changed when the carbies are there

not a fantastic pic but.

Thanks for the replies so far guys.

The car will be mainly for street use, but will also likely be used for club level competition in events which don't require a roll cage to be fitted.

I haven't made up my mind on whether or not I'll go ahead with either modification yet; just trying to get an idea of what each would involve while the car is in bits and yet to be painted.

It's a simple case of cutting out a rectangular section which includes the said hole, then rotating that section 180 degrees and welding it back in place, the size of the rectangular section is determined by how far you wish to lower the hole.
