Welsh plug question

Hi my name is Jake and im hoping someone can answer this question for me so i know what to expect.

The welsh plugs in the back of my engine block are leaking so im gonna start pulling stuff apart, i just want to know if i will have to pull the engine out to do them. its a 1976 mk2 ford escort 3 speed auto.

To get the plug in the rear of the block you will need to either remove the engine or the trans. I would suggest removing the engine and going all of them while it is out.

TIP: When knocking the new plugs in, use an old disc pad to ensure you get them in straight and without damaging them. DONT use a socket!
