1600 COIL WIRING

Hi i have just bought a mk2 escort with a 1600 x-flow but its missing a coil and i am not sure where and what wires should be connecting to it all so where is normally bolted in the engine bay. if i can get a photo or a simple schematic it would be great!

also since i need to get a new coil what brand or type should i get?
