Hi Guys,
Do you know of anyone doing fully counterweighted YB cranks in Australia? Anyone using them? Any feedback on their quality and performance? Im after a std stroke crank if they are priced right.
Cheers,
Phil.

Nev, If you really need to know what steel it is for repair purposes look for a foundry or a good metallurgist that can do a "spark" test. This will give you a print out of the composition quantity's for the piece of steel /alloy.
JSA i think you on the money with 4340 Ni-Cr-Mo but if i was to have a guess i would look more towards 8740 only because of the crank being forged.
