i saw one of these in nz
brian stokes had one in his escort & it sounded pretty good
Which has the following description for the YB 2.5L:

Smith and Jones 2.5L YB Rally Engine
358bhp @ 8400rpm / 250lb-ft @ 5800rpm

The output figures for the NA 2.5 read like those from a moderately turbocharged engine.

The best NA racing engines in the world, Nascar and F1 and our Australian V8's, are just under 90 lb/ft per litre peak torque on what can be recognised as petrol; the Smith & Jones has 100.

Seems highly unlikely.
