Does anyone know what parts if any interchange with the US Pinto engines?
Thinking the simple cams, heads, valves and springs, water and oil pumps etc.
I wonder if the turbo thunderbird 2.3 engine is similar?
All opinions welcomed.

For the 2.3 Pinto's, apart from the name virtually nothing. A couple of pulleys is about all there is that is common.
Blocks are different, heads have 4 cam posts and use hydraulic lifters. There's lots of parts for them and in turbo form they are a good thing but you need the whole engine and everything for it will need to come from the US.
The 2.0 Pinto's are the same as ours but only ran from about 72-74, then they went to the bigger motor and it all changed.
