Does anybody have one or more 48 DCOE's they want to sell? My carby bloke in Perth is struggling (STILL) to find a part for mine and is always looking to buy carbies for refurb/parts supply. If anybody has one let me know and I can pass on his details.

To date, after buying, I have never taken delivery of them as he has not been able to find a throttle shaft spring (don't know specifically which bit) to complete the overhaul. Apparently the part is no longer available new. He has however found a spring maker who may be able to assist.
Still got the 45's that he lent me on the car.

Glenn don't worry about the external springs too much as there are two on each carb and anyway if you set up a decent set of linkages and springs it doesn't matter

Cheers Danny. I want to replace my linkages and springs anyway as I was never totally happy with version 1.0

Have you (or your carby bloke) tried Daniel at
http://www.weberperformance .com.au at Braeside, Victoria. He lists the internal throttle return springs if that's the spring you are after. Plus all the other springs for that matter! Go to his web site and look under parts for the dcoe's.

SFE

dont use internal throttle springs
they break & jam up the throttle
get rid of them & use external springs only
