Hi guys.
I am fitting adjustable front control arms to my Escort, these arms have a rose joint where they bolt up inside the cross member.
I need 4/13mm cone shaped spacers made up. anyone with a metal lathe willing to help?
And should i run a larger diameter bolt through the cross member to suit the rose joint?.
Mark

You could make the spacers to suit the original bolt, step the ends so they locate in the rose joint. If you're using these on a road car it might pay to hide the rose joint/adjuster. I've used a piece of pipe insulation (like roll cage padding) that fitted tightly over the adjuster/rose joint. I was intending on using the car for rallies so my main reason to cover it up was to keep crap out of it.
