Posted: Sat Nov 20, 2010 4:45 pmMax, I ended up compromising with a 4.4 which seems OK for Lakeside grabbing 5th just before the start finish line. I'm only using 7000RPM as I have no idea how strong the bottom end is. I suspect at Qld Raceway I may run out of puff though.

DM is right, 4.8 is better to start with @7000rpm. I took out a 4.1, as it was waste of time if you want to get to the end of the straight at any track quickly.

Posted: Sat Nov 20, 2010 8:21 pmDale a CIG or mini spool would be less $ than a LSD. If its LSD only go for a plate type not ATB DM can advise further

Posted: Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:01 amDavid, thanks again, as per my earlier post I did get a 4.4 plate type LSD built by Deane Buist Palmside in NZ back mid year and have been running Lakeside with it. Based on the advice though I may now build a 4.9 CIG with the original banjo if I can track down a suitable CW&P.
