hi guys, i am after a few things,

alloy bellhousing for sierra 5 spd
hilux lsd centre
round headlight grille(mk 2)
205 block and crank(suitable rebore)
link boxes and links
capri struts(really dont need anything but the stubs and hubs)
and a load of other bits and pieces that will come to mind as i need them.

I got my alloy bellhousing from Palmside in NZ
www.palmside.co.nz or you can pick them up second hand of ebay from the UK.

I've got a set of Capri hubs and discs. Discs are undersize anyway. So I've basically only got hubs, with bearings in them.

If you want them, make an offer.

Bruce,

When I was after one from them, they said it was from "Rally And Competition Equipment"

They are re cast with more material in all places.

I posted the question, about cracks in original RS units [as they do] on another board

The reply was there is no one place where they crack, other than all over.

Therfore the originals are to thin/poorly cast.

So u have a good unit.

Costs ??

I've still got a catalogue of their stuff from 1996 - they had lots of neat stuff.

Dan told me once, he was going to do Magnesium ones, though, fortunately I never held my breath !

Nev,
Justin Nussio told me about a eastern states place that did copies of our style ones.

I contacted them a number of times without getting any where.

It turns out a bloke working there was doing them on the side or something, but they were like a size smaller if u get the drift, so it gave them a bit of a bad name etc.
I've never seen one.

Cost about $380 AUS they list them as $425 NZ but as it was export you don't pay GST, I picked it up while I was there.

I know the elan factory http://www.elanfactory.com.au/ was looking at making alloy ones for the 2000E box but don't know if this ever happened. I don't think they would be cheap. I've got a magnesium one for the twincam, it is a conversion bellhousing for fitting a a type E box to a kent engine but retaining the hydraulic clutch. It is down getting crack tested as we speak, it is an original Ford/RS option one. When I get it back from crack testing I'll take a few pics, hope it is OK......

wow, they sure are expensive on their parts, about double everyone else.
