was going to use these brakes before I decided to stick with 15" wheels on my race car and have since gone bigger again.
Alcon H-Type motorsport caliper lug mounted
Alcon motorsport discs 256x25.4
Alloy bells to suit
Winmax race pads
Grp4 Fabrications alloy hubs with bearings, caps and studs. Hubs and bearings are approx. 1500ks old. These are standard offset not 10mm wider.
Does not come with mounting bolts, lines or bell mounting bolts. Just what you see in the pic.
I have not yet drilled the lugs as it depends on what strut you may want to use and it gives the buyer the option of using different discs as well. The offset of everything is perfect though for my capri struts (should be the same for mk2 struts also), no difficult machining necessary, just mark the holes and a drill press is all you need.
These calipers are very light and lighter again than common kits as they don't need adaptors and extra hardware to mount, also using a lug mount on a lug mounted strut is stiffer than using a radial adaptor too. So if your sticking with 13" wheels, these are about the best option available in my opinion with enough thermal capacity for some pretty serious racing and about the lightest option too optimising the dynamic benefits of lower unsprung weight at the wheel. Of course they'll still perform exceptionally well on 15" too just depends on your application.
To buy all this new would be almost $3000, I think $1600 is a fair starting price unless anyone has any better ideas.
Cheers,
Llewellyn
