1979 Mk2 Escort RS2000 2 door (Australian delivery)

This RS2000 has been in my ownership since 2007 and has been stored (unregistered). It was registered and driven prior to my ownership. Window sticker tells me it was owned previously by a member of the RSOC of Australia.

This car presents in used but original condition.

I bought this car with the intention to restore however I have too many projects and do not have the time.

Body

• Red as per ID tags
• Genuine 11918 (2 door RS2000) body
• Some rust near bonnet hinges and heater bubble. Under fuel filler blank in drivers rear quarter
• Previous owner resprayed in original body colour and new RS2000 decals
• NO sunroof!
• Tinted windows

Interior

• Standard (black) RS2000 interior. Correct 1979 Scheel seats, RS dash, RS steering wheel etc
• Driver’s side squab needs to be rebolstered. Spare seats can be negotiated at additional cost.

• Standard RS2000

Brakes

• Standard RS2000

Motor
• 2.0 Pinto (needs tuning properly)
• Standard induction
• Extractors
• Tidy engine bay (see body)

Gearbox

• RS2000 4 speed manual

I read in your add about spare seats. Does this mean you have spare scheels , as Im after some.

Hi Shep,

The seats are offered as a set (front/rear) and will be spare if the buyer doesn't want them.

If the car doesn't sell I will keep them.
