It would appear that Winton Motor Raceway is copping a hard time by some complete tool on the local council.
https://www.facebook.com/wintonracewayplease support them by "liking" their page, and the recent posts.
We don't need to lose any more motorsport venues anywhere,

Even Baskerville raceway, south of Hobart is feeling the urban pinch.
I can't believe suburbia has caught up with Winton.

Yes we're feeling the pinch down here in Tassie. Looks like motorsports Tasmania would rather spend their money on Symmons Plains. Lots of upset people down here, can't afford to lose Baskerville and be left with such a hole as Symmons.
While you're at liking Winton, like the Baskerville page too :)

While Lakeside raceway was on the rails.
My local mayor was against the idea of reopening the track, till i told her i would head a racing club to fly around her new sub-division.
