RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Hi RS and Small Ford owners and enthusiasts,

I have recently moved from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast and as a ex RS owner and current RSOC member I'm keen to meet some locals with similar interests. This year at Pacific Ford we are attempting to show the FPV and V8 boys that Escorts, Capri's etc still exist and Greg(The event organizer) would love to see this too. We have an RS2000 Group 4 Rally Car, Mk 1 Cortina and 2 Focus RS's attending so far and would love it if some of the Gold Coast and other regions small Fords could also attend.

You will have to be quick if you want to display your car as numbers are limited to 100.

It has been confirmed that Ross Stone will accompany his two drivers Shane van Gisbergen and Alex Davison to our Total Performance Car Show on Sunday 7th August.

A few other Sunshine coast boys to send PMs to would be "ulsterman" with his big arched MK1, "MichaelN" with his Mk2 RS2000 and "DavidW" also MK2 RS2000. "DarrenW" is on the North side of Brisbane with his MK1 and I might be able to convince "DannyM" to tow his thing up for the day.

Thanks for your reply Gary. I have met David and his RS2000, but he has just removed the engine for some work and has said he will not be showing the car.

I would dearly love to get an RS31000 and Cosworth Sierra or Escort to the event if possible. We may have more luck at the Kedron show.

Imported from Germany a few months ago. A left hooker of course.
Looked the part and rare in this part of the world!
Unfortunately the owner only came for a visit as he was overseas when the show registrations took place.
Next year we may see it on show I hope.

Yes, I saw that on the news tonight. How good was that. Can't wait for Kedron All Ford Day October 2. Any chance everyone can spread the word. Can we get RS Escort's, Capri's, Sierra's and Focus's together to show up the NSW and Victorian small Ford days?

Didn't take many photos of the Falcon's, but he is a non Ford that showed up for a look as well. Was driven by an old dude wearing an authentic set of 1900's driving goggles; looked really weird. Just about upto the Escort photo's........saving the best till last.

Darren, that was David Bowden in the blue Allard with the goggles.

Are you posting ALL those pics of the RS2600 that you took on the RS Owners Club website? It looks a 100% better on my computer than what I saw on the small screen on your camera.
