Hi guys
I'm off to the Bowdens open day on Sunday.
To say I'm looking forward to it is an understatement, should be a great day getting up close and personal with some of Australia's most iconic motorsport cars.
For those that don't know of the Bowdens take a look.
http://www.bowdensown.com.au/I'll let you know how it goes next week.
Cheers
Martin

Steve - the question about the avatar was directed at me (its not all about you).
I've been there once before and there was a Moffat Mk1 Cortina in the collection.
I'll probably be in a Hyundai or Rav 4 (either will be red in colour). Just hope security let me in the gate with driving cr@p like this (it could be a bit like the fashion police letting you into a nigthtclub - remember the 80's).

Absolutely fantastic day finished off with KB driving the No 9 Camaro down the driveway and have an impromptu chat. You didn't realise how much custom stuff went into the car at the time (Fibreglass rear springs!!!) and what they would do to reduce weight. They then started the Green's Tuff XE, Beechy Monaro & Moffat Mustang. I've attached a photo of the only thing small Ford related (short of the Sierras)

Allans just happy to drive it every so often.
The Moffstang and GT40 were my two favorites.
Out of three carsich they started Norn Beecheys Monaro sounded the best by far. Should of heard the backfires out the exhaust on idle.
Its a great day and recommend it to any car lover.
I got a great compliment from Dan Bowden about the RS as I drove in, which was a great ego boost from someone with a car collection like that.
