I'll be going up to Imbil on Saturday to watch, get frustrated and then grumpy about why I'm not doing it myself.....

I'll be there to watch, from behind the wheel! Drop by in the service park before 10:30am to catch up, as I'm not due to start the 1st stage until 11:02am due to the number of entries. I think I counted 7 Escorts all up in the entire field.

Well it was a fantastic day today (though Atkinson had electrical issues and did not run) so for anyone who was thinking of heading up to Imbil tomorrow i would highly recommend it, was non-stop action all day... here are some pics

Oh, and a couple for Tanz that my sister shot, i actually headed back to the service park for a look before the classics headed through for a second time so missed your run. Did you have a mechanical because we didn't see you run second time around??

Well its becoming a common theme with me not ending up going to these events.....I caught the lurgy off my son on Friday so I didn't feel like the drive up to Imbil.

Bad luck Tony, shame to ruin the weekend of fun.
But something for everyone to note are some of the symptoms, as it sounds like it failed slowly over a rough couple of k's and didn't just fail suddenly. Some reasurrence for those of us using these 30-40yo strutts for competition use.
