RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

A couple of guys are organising a cruise for Escorts, Cortina Capri's etc on Monday 12th June (Queens Bday-public holiday). Southern people are meeting at Southgate Plaza at 10:30am then meeting Northerns at Glenelg (Coles Carpark) at 11:30am.

Anyone's welcome, it would be good to get the numbers up.

The aim is to shoot up Greenhill Rd into the hills for a nice drive.

Went pretty well. First up we went from Glenelg up Greenhill but got stuck behind traffic, then down and grabbed Maccas (nearest take away on route), but I wanted more hills driving so we went back up and drove through to Lobethal and Woodside most of which was a free run then we departed company along the highway home, but 4of us stuck together and went through crafers, coro, blackwood. Got some video and plenty of pics.

The rest don't seem to want to downsize any further.

A few cars couldn't make it, ie. off the road and another that got turbo'd the night before or something broke down on the way to Glenelg but I believe they've got it running now.

So I think we had 11 cars turn up but only 7come on the cruise plus a falcon, then we dropped another off as we went back into the hills.

Will be having another in a few month I'd assume as more cars make it back onto the road.
