Morgan park was excellent but frustrating. As you know the placings are done on "fastest set of laps" ( 1 standing start lap and 3 flying laps ) Andrew Hinze (2litre Datsun 1600) did a fastest set of 2:54.45, Matt Foster (yellow Mk2 in photos) did a 2:54.5 and I did a 2:54.9 bloody close but not close enough.
So what was your time at Mt cotton?

Posted: Sun Aug 16, 2009 7:59 pmI did three times in the 55's, with my fastest being a 55.28 which I'm very happy about. I didn't change the car this time. Just the driver grew some.....
Nice work at Morgan Park. To just miss out by a few tenths is disapointing on the day, but a change in tyre pressure or even new tyres would make that up. From the SBS coverage, looks like a challenging track to drive on as well as a heap of fun.

Posted: Mon Aug 17, 2009 7:16 amGary don't you mean 2.54s for a total or you would be doing 39.00 lap times 40.45 was the best I could do and I was 2.46 for a total.
